Welcome to the web site for Thorsby High School!  We hope this site will be a valuable resource for our students, parents, and visitors. Thorsby High School is a PreK-12 educational institution located in the Town of Thorsby and has been a public school since 1957.  The school originated as Thorsby Institute shortly after the town was founded in the early 1900's.  Thorsby Institute was founded as a private school and was turned over to the Chilton County Board of Education to become a part of the public school system in 1957.  Thorsby Institute provided a quality education for many years to local and out of state students.  Thorsby High School continues to provide students with an excellent education while being a member of the Chilton County Public School System. Thorsby High School is a wonderful school with a great faculty and student body. Please feel free to browse our site and familiarize yourself with the opportunities that our school provides.
